CUESA's 6th Annual Sunday Supper ~ October 5, 2008
Over fifty of the Bay Area’s best chefs, a dozen regional wineries, two local distilleries, and sustainable farmers from across the state all come together in the historic Ferry Building for one memorable night.
The Center for Urban Education about Sustainable Agriculture invites you to join in a meaningful meal. The reception features hors d’oeuvres from 18 Bay Area restaurants, wine from 6 local wineries, special farmers’ market cocktails, organic beer, and sparkling non-alcoholic beverages. Guests who stay for the four course supper will be served a meal prepared by chefs from 30 restaurants collaborating in teams of three to provide a unique first course, entree, cheese course and dessert. All proceeds support CUESA’s work to improve the sustainability of our local food system.

Easy Market Meals
We are happy to announce the return of our popular cooking program, Easy Market Meals. These free cooking demonstrations, which take place on the first and third Tuesday of each month from June through September, focus on one or two seasonal ingredients in the farmers' market and offer simple ways for home cooks to prepare them. This year, a few of the guest chefs will demonstrate family-friendly meals that are nutritious, quick to prepare, and pleasing to the developing palates of the under eight set. Attendees will learn from professional chefs and accomplished home cooks, sample the featured dishes, and leave with a recipe. Easy Market Meals takes place in CUESA’s Dacor teaching kitchen, located in the North Arcade in front of the Ferry Building.
